![]() The Leader (aka Samuel Sterns) frequently appears as one of the Hulk's main enemies, which means many D23 viewers were scratching their heads when the character was announced as a villain in a Captain America movie. Hopefully, some of these scattered characters and ideas will be rejuvenated in the forthcoming Captain America: Brave New World when it releases in theaters on July 26, 2024. It was announced at the D23 Expo 2022 that the main villain of Captain America: New World Order will be The Leader, hinting at the MCU's next Incredible Hulk story. With Roxxon creating a Vibranium substitute that will be easier to swipe than Wakanda’s treasure, this dastardly team-up could very well be a key component in reviving the scattered MCU. While Wilson Fisk is finding himself in a reborn renaissance as of late on Disney+ (and is going to be after Vibranium soon enough), Ultron has been a cult favorite of fans for years who are wishing that the killer android will return to the big screen. Making a synthetic version of vibranium called Nuform, every villain on the earth is now after this power-enhancing substance, including none other than Kingpin and Ultron! As can be seen here, Roxxon is technically a villain, but this antagonistic entity may be just what we need in order to finally bring some friendly faces in the same space and fix the MCU. Marvel ends up in a coma after saving the targeted speaker from falling debris, and the school is totally destroyed. When Roxxon tries to kill a high school girl who is speaking out against corrupt politics at her school, Kamala Khan, Viv Vision, Ironheart, and the other members of the Champions end up winning, but at a great cost. This does coincide with one of Roxxon’s biggest and most devious undertakings. Many theories out there state that because Marvel is introducing a plethora of teenage heroes, such as Wanda’s kids, Ironheart, and Hulk’s son Skaar, the next big story arc could be the formation of a young Avengers team called The Champions. Regarding non-MCU productions, the shady multi-million dollar company also had name-drops in Daredevil, Iron Fist, and The Runaways (just to name a few). This underhanded oil conglomerate has had appearances in every Iron Man movie, and the Loki and She-Hulk Attorney at Law shows. The character and Leung’s performance were widely celebrated as one of the better and more dynamic MCU villains.While the other signs are forgettable, Roxxon has a huge presence within the MCU and Marvel Comics.
